1960 CCTA Issue

Issued to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Commission for Technical Cooperation in Africa South of the Sahara (CCTA).
Founded in 1950, the CCTA was an intergovernmental body dedicated to the spreading of scientific and technical knowledge. Its functions were to promote joint action and facilitate practical aid for the benefit of all the peoples of the African sub-continent.
