1921 Overprints

This set consists of stamps from the 1915 House and Island Issue and the 1920 Pictorial Issue overprinted with the year of "1921". Many believe this overprint was totally unnecessary and point to the abundant number of CTO as partial proof of this[1].

All overprints can be found inverted. The 20c stamp is normally found with inverted overprint while the 20c with a non-inverted overprint is fairly rare. Mint stamps with the non-inverted overprint are scarce as most were cancelled to order. Mint stamps with inverted overprints are rare.
